Pepper Money has been announced as the headline partner of the inaugural Scottish Financial Reporter Awards, a brand-new awards programme dedicated to recognising and celebrating excellence across Scotland’s mortgage and intermediary market.
The partnership reflects Pepper Money’s commitment to supporting and raising standards across Scotland’s mortgage market, championing the people, businesses and partnerships that are delivering excellence and helping to drive the industry forward.
Launching for the first time in 2026, the Scottish Financial Reporter Awards have been created to give Scotland’s distinct mortgage market a dedicated platform of its own, shining a spotlight on the outstanding work taking place across mortgages, specialist lending and protection.
The awards will recognise excellence across the breadth of the market, from brokerages and lenders to the individuals making a real difference, including advisers, BDMs, administrators, rising stars and business leaders.
Nominations for the inaugural Scottish Financial Reporter Awards open on 24th September 2026, with the awards ceremony taking place on Wednesday 10th March 2027.
Paul Adams, sales director at Pepper Money, said: “Scotland has a vibrant and distinctive mortgage market, underpinned by the expertise and commitment of brokers, lenders and industry professionals who work hard every day to support customers with increasingly complex needs. As a specialist lender, Pepper Money is passionate about championing the important role brokers play and recognising the people and partnerships that help customers find a solution, even when their circumstances are less straightforward. We are proud to be the headline partner of the inaugural Scottish Financial Reporter Awards and to support a dedicated platform that celebrates the very best of Scotland’s intermediary market.”
Andy Shields, director at Financial Reporter's parent company Barcadia Media, commented: “The Scottish mortgage intermediary market plays such a vital role in the wider industry, and we believe it deserves its own dedicated platform for celebration and recognition. We’re incredibly excited to be bringing the Scottish Financial Reporter Awards to Glasgow and giving brokers, BDMs, lenders and everyone in between the recognition they’ve earned.
"We’re delighted to have Pepper Money on board as our inaugural headline partner. Their commitment to supporting the Scottish intermediary market makes them a fantastic partner for the awards, and we’re looking forward to working together to make the first year a real success.”
