Air has launched an upgrade to its WriteRoute proposition, developed in response to feedback from individual adviser members and firms.

The latest version of WriteRoute provides a structured fact find, sourcing and suitability report journey for those advising in the later life lending market, bringing together a range of changes aimed at reducing the administrative burden for members.

Among the key updates is a new history and undo function, designed to provide advisers with greater visibility of changes made throughout the fact find process and enabling them to quickly audit and reverse individual amendments where required.

The upgrade also introduces a new compliance export feature, generating a read-only record of the client journey to support updated evidencing, file checking and compliance oversight.

The suitability report process has also been built upon through new validation checks, which identify missing mandatory information before a report can be generated. In addition, advisers are directed to incomplete sections.

WriteRoute also now allows users to upload their own signatures and enables firms to apply company branding to client-facing documentation.

In response to the increasingly flexible ways advisers work, the latest release updates offline functionality so that users can continue to progress client cases when internet connectivity is unavailable.

To support adoption and ongoing learning, instructional videos have been embedded into the platform, helping advisers access guidance and make use of WriteRoute's functionality without interrupting their workflow.

Will Hale, CEO of Air, said: "The demands placed on advisers operating in the later life lending space continue to grow, and alongside helping consumers navigate increasingly complex financial decisions, advisers must also satisfy ever-evolving documentation, governance and compliance requirements.

"The latest improvements to WriteRoute have been developed with those realities firmly in mind, with every enhancement having been designed to remove friction from the advice process, helping advisers spend less time on administration and more time having comprehensive conversations with customers and exploring all options.

"Technology should simplify complexity, not add to it, and the latest improvements to WriteRoute are another important step in our ongoing commitment to providing advisers with the tools, support and innovation they need to grow their businesses profitably and to deliver consistently good client outcomes with confidence.

"At our recent Air Evolve Summit, we explored how emerging technologies, including AI, will transform the future of advice, creating more intelligent, connected adviser journeys that reduce administrative burden, add value for customers and unlock the capacity for growth.

"That same philosophy sits behind initiatives such as our recent collaboration with Mortgage Brain and continues to shape the development of WriteRoute. By connecting technology, data and adviser workflows more effectively, we're building an ecosystem designed to help advisers spend less time navigating systems and more time doing what they do best: providing advice.

"These latest WriteRoute improvements are another important step in our ongoing investment in the future of advice, ensuring advisers have access to the tools, support and innovation they need to adapt, grow and succeed in an evolving market."
