Barclays increases residential rates by further 0.15%

The lender is increasing rates across its purchase, remortgage and existing customer product ranges.

From tomorrow, Barclays is increasing rates across 62 residential products, including purchase, remortgage and existing customer ranges, by 0.15%.

In the lender's residential purchase range, a two-year fix at 60% LTV is rising from 4.10% to 4.25% with an £899 fee. A five-year fix at 85% LTV will increase from 4.55% to 4.70% with no fee.

16 remortgage rates will also see increases of 0.15%, including a two-year fix at 60% LTV with a £999 fee, up from 4.16% to 4.31%.

In its existing customer reward range, a two-year fix at 60% LTV will rise from 3.97% to 4.12% with a £999 fee.

Barclays has also increased rates across seven products in its range for both purchase and remortgage. A two-year fix at 60% LTV will increase from 4.21% to 4.36% with a £1,999 fee.
