The finalists of the 2026 Mortgage Industry Marketing Awards (MIMAs) have been announced today, celebrating the people and teams behind some of the standout marketing work across the mortgage industry over the past year.
Launched by Financial Reporter in 2021, the MIMAs were created to recognise the important role marketing plays within the intermediary sector and give the people behind that work a platform of their own.
Open to marketers across the mortgage and specialist lending markets, the awards celebrate the creativity and expertise that goes into building brands, engaging brokers and customers, launching products and delivering campaigns that make a genuine impact.
This year also marks another step forward for the MIMAs. Following the continued growth of the awards and the strength of entries received, an additional finalist has been introduced across each category for 2026, giving even more of the industry’s marketers the opportunity to have their work recognised.
The decision reflects not only how much the MIMAs have grown since their launch, but the increasing number of marketers and businesses putting themselves forward and taking pride in the work being produced across the sector. With more entries and an increasingly high standard of submissions, expanding the finalist lists allows the awards to celebrate more of the people helping to push mortgage marketing forward.
This year’s entries were reviewed by a panel of experienced marketing professionals from across the industry. Submissions were assessed on measurable results including ROI, engagement, web traffic and conversions, alongside creativity, innovation, execution and overall brand impact.
The winners of the 2026 MIMAs will be revealed at the awards ceremony at Event30six in Manchester on 25th November.

Andy Shields, director of Financial Reporter's parent company Barcadia Media, commented: “Every year, the MIMAs give us a chance to see just how much brilliant work is being done by marketers across our industry, and this year has been no different.
“The awards have grown enormously since we launched them, both in the number of people coming forward and the standard of work we’re seeing. This year, that gave us a good problem to have. There was so much quality across the entries that we’ve added an extra finalist to every category, meaning even more of the people doing brilliant work in our industry will get the recognition they deserve.
“For us, that growth says a lot about the marketing community in this industry. People are increasingly willing to put their work forward, stand behind what they’ve achieved and celebrate the role marketing plays within their businesses.
“Marketing in financial services isn’t always straightforward. You’re often taking complex products, changing market conditions and subjects that can be difficult to communicate and finding a way to make people stop, pay attention and engage. That takes real skill.
“Getting down to our finalist list was no easy task, so everyone who has made it through should be incredibly proud of what they’ve achieved. We’re looking forward to bringing everyone together in Manchester on 25th November and celebrating the people behind some of the best marketing our industry has to offer.”
