JammJar has unveiled a major update to its AI-powered operating system for mortgage advice firms, helping brokers review documents, update fact finds and manage their mortgage and protection business with less administration.

Demonstrated during a summer launch webinar, the upgraded system includes an enhanced AI Assistant that shows advisers the transcript wording and confidence level behind proposed fact-find updates direct from client conversations, with advisers able to review and accept the changes before they are written directly to the case.

New AI document analysis reads bank statements and income documents, taking advisers through a four-step review of commitments, spending, flagged transactions and income. JammJar says the review can be completed in around three to four minutes per case, with advisers able to inspect and amend the information.

A new Knowledge Base also allows firms to upload their processes, templates and partner scheme information, giving advisers answers from their own documents without searching through separate files.

As part of the JammJar upgrade, protection now sits alongside the mortgage on the same record, with sourcing through iPipeline’s Solution Builder. Selected product information and documents can then be synchronised back into JammJar.

In addition, the JammJar operating system now features a single communications hub that brings together email, portal messages, calls, SMS and calendar appointments on each case. A customer portal supports document sharing and messaging, while a Record Meeting button captures face-to-face conversations for fact-find updates and follow-up suggestions.

Firms can also build their own automations, including mortgage deal-end reminders and follow-up tasks, and create reports by asking questions in plain English.

Karl Griffin, CEO and co-founder of JammJar, said: “Most of the new features in this update come directly from broker feedback. Our customers are pushing us hard, and that’s exactly what we want. They’re showing us where the technology can do more, where things still take too long and how they want JammJar to work for their business.

“We’ve taken that feedback and put more power in their hands. The AI does more of the work, but advisers can see where the information has come from and decide what gets written to the case. And where we were previously the bottleneck, firms can now build their own automations and reports without waiting for us.

“We’ve always wanted JammJar to be one place where brokers can get their work done. These updates bring more of that together, helping advisers move through cases faster, stay in control and deliver a fantastic customer experience.”
