Nationwide is cutting rates across its first-time buyer, home mover and remortgage ranges.
Available from tomorrow, the changes will see rates reduced by up to 0.15% across two, three and five-year fixed rate products.
Nationwide’s lowest rate now stands at 4.89% for home movers, available on a five-year fixed rate at 60% LTV with a £1,499 fee.
Elsewhere in the home mover range, a two-year fixed rate at 90% LTV with a £999 fee is down to 5.25%, and a five-year fix at 75% LTV with no fee is reducing to 5.16%.
First-time buyers will benefit from reductions of up to 0.15%. Highlights include two-year fixed rates from 5.06% at 60% LTV with a £999 fee, and 5.48% at 85% LTV with no fee.
First-time buyers also receive £500 cashback when they complete their mortgage with Nationwide. First-time buyers and those moving home can also benefit from cashback of up to £500 if they purchase an energy-efficient property through Nationwide’s Green Reward.
Remortgage rates will reduce by up to 0.12%, with 60% LTV two-year fixed rates now starting from 4.99%.
Rates on a small number of two-year tracker mortgages at 80% LTV and above will increase by up to 0.10%.
Carlo Pileggi, Nationwide’s head of mortgage products, said: “Current market conditions are giving us the opportunity to reduce fixed mortgage rates across our range. We’re making cuts across the range to support all types of borrowers, whether they’re buying their first home, moving home or looking to remortgage.”
