"We’re committed to supporting economic growth across the UK and will work with customers to help them realise their ambitions."
- Dave Furnival, head of broker services at NatWest Group
NatWest is introducing an increased limit on how much businesses can borrow through its Broker Direct service - up from £500,000 to £750,000.
This follows the bank’s move in August to double the limit from £250,000 to £500,000. The lower limit of borrowing through the service will remain at £50,000.
Broker Direct is a dedicated service for SME brokers. Since its launch in June 2023, the time taken from information being received to a credit backed decision has reduced by 41%.
Dave Furnival, head of broker services at NatWest Group, said: “We saw good demand when we lifted the limit available through Broker Direct to £500,000 in August. We’re confident we have the capacity to support all customers to grow as we lift the cap further to £750,000.
“It’s great to see Broker Direct grow in popularity, reflecting how easy it is for businesses of all sizes use the service. We’re committed to supporting economic growth across the UK and will work with customers to help them realise their ambitions.”
