Together has appointed Graham Noctor as its first regional private client director for London and the South.
Graham, who has three decades of experience in the mortgage market, will be responsible for providing personal finance solutions for high net worth (HNW) individuals.
Graham began his career as a mortgage adviser at Barclays and a financial planning manager at HSBC, later becoming an associate director for London-based personal and commercial finance brokerage, Kingsway Mortgages.
In 2010, he moved to Metro Bank, where he set up and grew its mortgage department, arranging the bank’s first ever lending transaction. He later became Metro’s private clients director, providing finance for borrowers in the sports and entertainment industries.
As a business manager for Thomas St John group, a position he took up in 2017, Graham was responsible for a large portfolio of SME clients, as well as UK and US-based personal finance clients, again in sports, music and entertainment.
He joined US company SS&C Technologies as partner relationship manager to over 400 wealth managers across London and South East region before becoming part of the team which launched Virgin Red, the rewards club for the Virgin brand.
Graham joins Together from Swedish-headquartered global bank Handelsbanken, where he spent four years developing a portfolio of HNW customers, building relationships with new clients and introducers.
At Together, he will promote the lender’s brand to introducers and HNW individuals, providing flexible personal finance products including mortgages, regulated bridging and second charge loans.
Graham said: “While Together has seen phenomenal growth over its 53 years in business, this will be the first role for a dedicated director for London and the South specifically to meet the needs of HNW individuals in the Capital and surrounding regions.
“For me, it’s a fantastic opportunity to build on my existing connections, providing even more HNW clients with the rapid finance decisions they’re looking for.
“Despite their wealth, many may find themselves locked out of the mainstream mortgage market due to complex income streams. For example, they may be buying a unique high-value property or simply be considered too complex a borrower for the automated systems used by some banks and building societies to process.
“At Together, we’re able to look at the whole range of financial solutions available for these entrepreneurial clients to achieve their property ambitions.”
Scott Clay, Together’s private client director, commented: “Graham has spent his entire career forging strong relationships with introducers and HNW clients across a wide geographical region and various industry sectors, so we’re delighted to welcome him to a new role at Together.
“There is a huge demand for high-value finance in London and the South, and this is a key region for Together as we continue to provide fast and flexible finance to even more clients across the UK. Graham’s experience, knowledge and skills will be of huge benefit in realising our growth ambitions.”
